B. J. DiMartini
 
 
Travels to Europe revealed a passion for art history...  B. J. DiMartini presently divides her time between St. Louis, Missouri and Bologna, Italy, where she maintains homes and studios.  As a young adult she studied science, however her  
travels to Europe revealed a passion for art history and a keen appreciation for aesthetic design.  She speaks fluent Italian and has organized painting workshops to major cities in northern Italy. Her work is in private collections in Europe and South America as well as the United States.  She expresses her personal vision and perception through a variety of artistic media:  watercolor, oil paint, acrylic paint, collage, serigraphy and lithography.  Her favorite subjects are the human figure and Italian landscapes and monuments. 

B. J. DiMartini is a retired associate professor of Fine Art from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY.  Her undergraduate degree is from Loyola/Mt. St. Agnes College, Baltimore, Maryland and her Master of Fine Art degree is from Rochester Institute of Technology.
