Ron Flier
           
 
Engineer, inventor and artist. Ron Flier also races sports cars and is a sought after driving instructor. His numerous career accomplishments include the creation 
of many nationally distributed products as a Vice President of Research and Development for a major consumer products company in St. Louis. He holds many patents and was once named Missouri Inventor of The Year. He is also the recipent of the Solo Driver of Eminence award from the Sports Car Racing Club of America.   

Flier has been painting full time for twelve years and his works have been incuded in over 50 local, regional and national shows. His art is in private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Ron has traveled to Europe to study with internationally-known realist painter Matthew Daub and continues to make annual visits to the countryside of France for independent study and plein air work in oils. Ron was a participant in the 2008 Open Studios event sponsored by the St. Louis Contemporary Art Museum.
