The obsession lives on.  -Nancy Freiderich

For many artists, art is a passion.  For this artist, it is an obsession.  While raising four sons and working full time, Nancy began taking painting class one evening a week in a casual studio setting.  Thirty years later, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from SIU, Edwardsville and a Master of Fine Art degree from Fontbonne University in St. Louis.  Along with teaching summer studio classes in her home, she is an adjunct professor of art at Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, Illinois, and has earned numerous awards for her work.  She paints every spare moment.  The obsession lives on.
