Kevin paints in watercolor and oil. His artistic voice is
impressionistic and immediate, preferring to capture the feeling of the
subject above all other artistic goals. He utilizes vivid color in
his work, leveraging complimentary color schemes to heighten visual interest.
For each painting completed, he records his thoughts and goals for the
painting in his painting journal. What Kevin hopes to achieve in
his art is for people to collect his work because they see it as beautiful
and they find it supremely representative of our rural landscape and heritage.
His ultimate dream is for people to be as moved by his art as he has been
by his favorite artists. Kevin feels that they made him rejoice in
our world, and they made him dream. As Kevin completes each painting,
he publishes it using an RSS feed called "Touch the Wet Paint".
