the veins in leaves, the bark of trees and the way roots intertwine to
form a graceful dance as they slowly grow under foot. All of the leaves
are actual imprints, so when you view the leaves you see every distinct
detail. No two are alike. I have attempted to create artwork that is not
only distinctive in appearance but also practical in usage."
Catherine
is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where she studied art
education and fine arts. She is an art teacher at Affton High School and
an active member of Art St. Louis. Catherine is frequent exhibitor in art
fairs in St. Louis and the mid-west.
